Kikker are “kicking off” 2025 [every single cheesy pun absolutely intended.. 😜 ] the only way they know how—loud, chaotic, and unapologetically raw. The new single Trouble on the North Bank is a full-throttle reimagining of a classic Swansea anthem originally released in the late 1970’s by local punk legends Dyfatty Flats.
Written as a tribute to the legendary North Bank at the former home of Swansea City FC, The Vetch Field, this track drips with the same untamed energy that made that terrace the heart and soul of Swans support. The lyrics are pure terrace aggression—“There’s trouble on the North Bank, we chased them and they fled”—a war cry for anyone who ever stood shoulder to shoulder in the old ground.
Huge thanks to Ray Jones and Stuart Miers, the original masterminds behind Trouble on the North Bank, for giving Kikker the nod to bring this beast back to life. Produced and mixed in-house at Death Monkey Records by our own Dave Milsom, this version keeps the spirit of the original, while injecting it with Kikker’s signature sonic chaos.
