Death Monkey is a UK Independent Label specialising in  Record Production based in Swansea, Wales. We make records and promote Underground music from South-Wales and beyond. We have been part of the Alternative and Indie music scene in Swansea since 2010.

We’re all about Non-Mainstream, Independent music and the regional scenes which support them. Our Ethos is to ‘Think Global, Act Local’ with the aim of taking our provincial heroes and sharing them with other scenes around the world, and them to us, exchanging art which exist outside Pop Culture, championing individualism and Non Conformist attitudes.

We work with artists out of local studios to make records with our in-house Producer and help craft the sound of their releases, discovering artists and guiding them through the recording process, investing in our belief in them from the start. We also offer Post-Production services, Mixing and Mastering, to finish up projects which artists may have already started themselves and help make them into Kick Ass records they are proud of and fans will love.

We work collaboratively with artists in 50/50 Partnership, often as a collective, with many getting involved to help participate and run the label over the years. We fully devote ourselves to each artist, giving them the freedom to achieve their vision and take their release to make sure it reaches the ears of new Fans everywhere. That’s why each new record we put out is as much a milestone for the label as it is the artist. Made with the very same passion and devotion they put into it.
