Death Monkey Records Mourns the Loss of Adam Avit
We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of Adam Burse, AKA Adam Avit! One of the first artists we worked with at DMR, more than that he was part of the Death Monkey Records family and also became a member of the team, helping to run the label for a time, with the same passion and intensity he brought to his music.
Adam’s larger than life personality and relentless enthusiasm meant he was a friend to everyone who knew him, living his life always on his own terms and for the music he loved, where he poured every ounce of his energy.
He was a huge presence on the Swansea music scene when we started the label, known to all and continued that through to his YouTube career, becoming an integral part of an international community of musicians where he found his creative inspiration and a home amongst many friends.
Rock In Peace Adam, you’re much missed
