It was Ddydd Miwsig Cymru early this year on February 7th and DEATHMONKEY‘s resident producer Dave Milsom headed down to Cinema & Co. to write a live review for SoundBoard Magazine!

On Friday MAY 15, we mark the official, digital release of the “Sound Board Magazine & Death Monkey Records presents: Abertawe 13″ compilation!”Abertawe 13″ was a project we worked on with Sound Board Magazine where we commandeered ABERTAWE ROAD STUDIOS over 4 Sundays last May/June, and recorded 13 local acts for a limited-run cover cd for Issue #6 of SBM in August. Subsequently those issues are now like gold dust!It was a massive project to undertake and features exclusive recordings of tracks by the following regional, original acts:
Kikker;
Joel Morgan;
and World Vs. World.
The compilation will be available from all the usual platforms from 3rd April, and artwork is provided by Tansy rees illustration!And one last thing to mention about its release – ALL PROCEEDS from digital downloads of “Sound Board Magazine & Death Monkey Records present: Abertawe 13” for the forseeable future will be donated to the ongoing Green Rooms/Clwb Y Bont Flood Relief Appeal!
